Use network storage for My Files

Not Planning to Implement

I would like the ability to use network shares for My Files.

The reason for this is so files can be copied or moved between My Files and other locations.

You can disable My Files and then you can use Network Folders (Smart Mounting) to create a home directory for each user. You can call this network folder "My files"

Unfortunately we can't directly change "My Files" to be a network folder as it is only available on Managed Storage.

OK thanks. I did consider this but the folder wouldn't be at the root would it?

I should be able to do something this way though.

yes, you are right, it wouldn't be in the root unfortunately. It will be inside "Network folders"->"My Files" as an example.
