Needs Review

It would be amazing to be able to directly link to an image in a Teams Folder to display on a website/webpage. Basically image hosting functionality like https://imgbb.com.

I believe FileCloud supports direct links but a person trying to view the direct link needs to be logged into their own FileCloud account.

This would be great for companies to be able to post informational posters/images on their intranet site or public facing site.

Thanks for reaching out—that’s a great suggestion.

I can see how you would want something like that. But Have you tried Public sharing? A user can view the content without logging into the FileCloud if he is accessing the public share link

Hi Nitin,

Yes, I've tried Public sharing for downloading the file which works fine but I'm talking about embedding the file to view on a webpage or a digital bulletin board.

For example, in this text box I'm replying to you with, I'm able to embed the image below using the https://imgbb.com service. If this image was on FileCloud, it doesn't appear to be possible.

I can see how you would want something like that. That said, we aren’t planning on building this feature, at least not soon.

We have limited development resources until Q4, but we plan to revisit backlogged feature requests as soon as we’ve worked through our current plan. With that in mind, please let us know if there’s anything else you’re interested in
