Outlook Add-in - Disable sign-in alert.
In Planning
We recently upgraded our FileCloud Outlook Add-in to version 23.1. With this version, if the FileCloud add-in is installed, but not configured, there is a pop-up alert near the system tray if the user isn't signed into FileCloud. It says "Please log-in via Settings dialog in Compose Window." I would like a way to suppress this warning, ideally via a registry key. We use FileCloud on a Windows RDS Server Farm, so the add-in is installed on there for all users, but only used actually used by a few people. Everyone else gets this warning and it is generating unnecessary support calls.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about the FileCloud Outlook Add-in version 23.1 and the sign-in alert experience.
We understand that the current behavior is causing inconvenience, especially in environments like your Windows RDS Server Farm, where the add-in is not universally used.
We are actively looking into enhancing the FileCloud Outlook Add-in to better suit the needs of all our users. This includes exploring options for suppressing the sign-in alert, such as through a registry key that IT administrators can deploy to users who do not require active interaction with FileCloud via the Outlook add-in.
Please look forward to updates in our forthcoming releases. Your feedback is invaluable in guiding our development efforts, and we encourage you to keep sharing your insights and suggestions.
