Create document from browser
Needs Review
Hey,
I am trying to get users to do all of their file interactions through FileCloud. All is going well.
One thing though that would be useful is to be able to create a document from FileCloud in a browser.
For example in Windows Explorer you can use the right click context menu to create a Word document.
I would want to be able to do the same thing in a browser so that people can create, name and save a document all without leaving the browser.
Thanks
Thanks for your feedback.

How would users edit the document? Do you just want a dummy document created?
In the next release (17.3), we will have support to create new documents (assuming you have connected FC to Office 365) for instance.

When you choose 'Quick edit' FileCloud opens the document in the default software for the file type of the file.
So what I was thinking is it uses the same function but opens a blank document and then I can save that.
For example in WIndows explorer I can right click and start a new document. I don't need to launch Word or Excel first.
