Force expiring shares
In Planning
make a option in policy to force shares to be expired after a defined time. e.g. 30 days. eventually also differentiate between public, password and private shares.
e.g. expire time 30 days. if i create a share on the 12th may it automatically expires on 11th june.
there are users, which share files indefinitely without the need (even public ones). in times of data protection and so on i think this a good idea.
Thanks for the feedback.
Have you looked at this: https://www.getfilecloud.com/supportdocs/display/cloud/Set+Global+Expiration+for+Public+Shares

yes, i have seen this option, and we are using it. But it is not foreced, the user can deactivate the expire date.

I would also like an option for the file to be deleted after the share expires.

We are looking into deleting the content after the share expires
